The FAPA Environmental sub-committee is committed to addressing environmental issues in a manner that protects and improves human health and the environment.
It plays a critical role in facilitating a good relationship between our members, stakeholders and interested parties. We provide a voice for our industry on a wide variety of environmental issues. From engaging in the development and review of environmental legislation and policy frameworks with government and other parties, to sharing environmental good practice initiatives between our members.
The FAPA Environmental sub-committee also takes into account members’ contributions to sustainable development, and ensures that risks to the viability of the Ferroalloys industry are identified and managed.
Such involvement is critical for our members to operate effectively, to improve the environment that we all work in and to be competitive both domestically and internationally.
